Competition Rules and Judicial System

MAM will provide National Competition Rules ("NCR's") for all categories of motor sport. During 2008 the competition rules will be fairly simple as our main focus will be on lower level events requiring less complicated rules and regulations. As MAM develops the competition rules will be expanded to cater for all types of competition and events.

We can assist the clubs and event organisers in developing a general and standardised competition infrastructure and guidelines. We will nominate qualified Stewards for motor sports events and we will ensure that Stewards are given proper training, exposure and accreditation, to be impartial.

With the significant investment many competitors and entrants commit to, it is of paramount importance that results are published in a timely fashion and that competitors, promoters and sponsors can rely on a fair and efficient judicial system to safeguard integrity and investment in the sport.

We recognise that MAM, as a newly established organisation, cannot possibly deliver a very comprehensive set of rules and regulations from the outset which will cover every eventuality. Therefore MAM have established a National Competition Rules Panel (NCR Panel) which will constantly review regulations and procedures. The NCR Panel have powers to review protests and appeals to ensure the highest level of fairness.
