The 1st Round for the WMK MAM-SIC Rally X Series 2010 kicks off this weekend on 11th April 2010 at the Sepang International Circuit. Make your way to carpark A3 of the circuit (opposite Petronas on LCCT route) and cheer on those who are competing, improve your photography skills, learn more about competition car preparation & driving, meet the drivers or just make new friends.

Driver line-up includes 2009 junior rally champions, A. Magendran and Mohd Shafiq, best of the best Malaysian autocrossers Ivan Khong, Julian Phang, Mickey Teoh and lady rally champion Gina Finanza, Guanne Khoo and Drift Darling Leona Chin.

Cars include Subarus Imprezas, Evo's, Rally Cars, Street Cars, Drift cars, buggies, a dealer backed Chery Alado (!) and the now infamous Volvo 240 'banger' of popular off-road buggy collector Shukor 'Baja' Hamid.

Side attraction includes APRC & MRC contenders team MRU Rallying who will be running two Subaru Impreza's and a Proton Satria Neo for test purposes along with off-road buggy & racing/rally car fabricator Brian Palmer of Interformula Sdn.Bhd. Also present will be 2009 RallySprint champion who is also the team owner of GSR Motorsports, Mr. Gunaseelan Rajoo with his Pennzoil Lubricants Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution rally car.

Come meet all the drivers and teams. Pose for photos with them and their machines. Talk to them and learn things you'll never learn elsewhere. It doesn’t matter if you're a rally fan or just like to be a part of the Malaysian motorsports scene.
