MOHD AZNOR AZIZ CLIMBS UP THE RANK
The 3rd round of the National ScooterPrix MAM Championship 2008 organised by the Malaysian United Scooter Community (MUSC) was held at Elite Speedway PLUS Circuit, USJ, Selangor on 28 & 29 June 2008. A total of 77 entries were received for this round with approximately 3,000 spectators present to experience the action.
Mohd Aznor Aziz from Full Throttle emerged as podium champion in Scooped Open category. According to the Team Manager, En. Hamzi "We are so happy with this achievements and this is achieved after implementing good team work spirit and good adjustment of machine. Aznor is very determined to keep his record and make a similar sweep in round 4 next month".
In Scooter 125cc-150cc race category, Mohd Hafieenaz Mohammad Ali from Mulisha Suzuki Team once again finished 1st followed by the other two team members who finished 2nd and 3rd. Azlan Bin Haji Johan from MMRW Revolutions who finished 3rd in the last round has this time made it 1st in a very competitive battle with the earlier champion Zikril Hafiz Misnan from KMS in the Scooter 180cc-200cc category.
Mohd Shah Bin Yahya from Lambretta JB Team finished 1st in Vespa/Lambretta Open category while Mohd Emy Bin Nordin Ahmad from KKMR Black Raven finished 2nd.
According to Mr. Mohd Nizam Sazili, President of MUSC, "MUSC is glad and always committed to work together with MAM to develop and better improve local scooter race scene besides providing the talents with low cost opportunities to compete and show their passion towards motor sports".
This 2-days race ended with prize giving session to all winners and prizes were presented by all sponsors representatives as well as MAM officials.
