A total of 6 rounds has been planned for the Perak Motocross Series in the state of Perak this year with the Opening Round in Gua Tempurung. It is the 4^th Annual Motocross event held yearly. In the previous four years it was only an annual event. Starting from this year the organizer, Le Shuttle Event (M)Sdn Bhd has decided to run another additional five rounds to make it a six rounds Perak Series.

Points will be taken into account from all series for the state championship. The organizers vision is to promote motocross as an event for the youth to participate and to promote motorsport events in the state of Perak.

The rules and regulations will be subjected to MAM National Competition Rules. Eligible vehicles for the series as below;

1. Cubcross – Underbone bike up to 125cc (2 stroke) or 150cc (4 stroke) & all type of MotoCub
2. Junior – Motorcycle up to 85cc (2 Stroke)
3. Trail Bike – Any type of trail bike (scrambler) of any cubic capacity
4. Classic – Any type of trail bike (scrambler) of any cubic capacity
5. Veteran – Any type of trail bike or off road bike of any cubic capacity
6. 125cc (stroke) – Any type of off road bike with 125cc (2 stroke)
7. Motocross Open – Open bike of any cubic capacity
